We’re from the East Coast. We met in Boulder. And that’s where it all changed. We discovered we needed to live in a place that gives us those daily experiences in nature that make us feel more grounded, balanced, and connected to what matters.

We call it ‘the awe effect’ and there’s a lot of it in Tahoe. It’s what brought us here. It’s why we stayed. It’s why we raised our family here. Each day we’re surrounded by an amazing community that works hard so they can play harder in Tahoe’s deep blue waters, pristine forests, and snow-capped peaks – to experience those reset moments that reconnect us with what matters most.

Tica has always been a big tea lover with a deep understanding of the tea landscape, inspired by her mom’s love of tea and her own passion for tea discovery on her international travels. Mike, not so much, until he started doing work in the tea industry with iconic brands including Twinings, Celestial Seasonings, and Yogi Tea.
