Monkey Rock Matcha is inspired by two mountain homes, Tahoe’s Monkey Rock on the East Shore and Japan’s snow monkeys, who have wintered in the mountains for generations. Our matcha is grown in high elevation terraces, in the shadows of Mount Fuji, nourished by pure mountain snowmelt just like Tahoe itself. This is 100% ceremonial grade Yabukita cultivar from Shizuoka Prefecture, direct single-sourced from a multi-generational, pesticide-free farm that shares our mountain values. The color is vivid green, the flavor smooth and deep, and the energy calm, focused and sustained. It’s the ritual of two mountain communities - together in one cup.
